Warranty

All roofing products listed include manufacturer warranties that cover defects in materials and, in some cases, workmanship. Warranty coverage varies by product and may include a non-prorated period, where full value is offered before coverage is reduced over time. Manufacturer warranties cover material defects but generally exclude labor costs unless an extended or enhanced warranty option is purchased.

5 years Craftsmanship Warranty

Provided by the installing contractor, this warranty covers installation-related defects such as improper sealing, misaligned shingles, or faulty flashing. It lasts for 5 years, and the contractor is responsible for repairs if issues like leaks arise due to installation errors.

What Warranties Do Not Cover

• External Damage: Includes hail, hurricanes, earthquakes, and other natural disasters (Acts of God).
   
• Structural Problems: Such as roof deck movement, foundation shifts, or poor drainage.
   
• Improper Maintenance: Failure to adhere to manufacturer guidelines, including the client’s decision to decline recommended flashing upgrades or other building maintenance-related work advised by Terra Roofing Ltd., such as proper ventilation or drainage improvements.
   
• Misuse or External Impact: Damage caused by foot traffic, falling debris, chemical exposure, or the use of unsuitable cleaning products.
   
• Aesthetic Concerns: Normal wear and aging, color variations, or algae and moss growth (unless specifically covered).
   
• Multiple Layer Installations: Problems arising from installing new shingles over existing layers.
   
• Previously Settled Claims: Once a claim has been settled, no further claims on that issue will be accepted.
   

1. Register the product (if required) soon after installation.
2. Keep records – product details, proof of purchase, and installation invoice.
3. Contact the manufacturer directly using the info below.
4. Submit documentation as requested (photos, receipts, shingle labels, etc.).
5. Allow for inspection if required by the manufacturer.
